You know - the OGs. The ones that started this whole mess.

AP Physics YAGs

In varying states of done-ness. The C documents were intended for independent study courses.

Incomplete YAGs

As I always tell myself, these are the ones that I'm still building. Are they literally anywhere near finished? No. But, I keep telling myself that one day, I will. So, he's my very-very-very-very rough work in progress.

YAG - Video Recording - Aug 2022
A Year At a Glance

Linda, will you ever make a (fill in the blank here) YAG?

TLDR: Maybe... but, likely not in time for you to use it when you need it.

So, each one of these documents was made because:

  1. I was teaching the class to 5 or more students as my "course of focus" for the period.

  2. I was expected to therefore submit lesson plans.

  3. So, I needed a place to put my lesson plans.

That's right. A YAG for me is my lesson plan doc. I turned these in to my admin team. Did they always like it? No. In fact, one of the reasons I left the classroom at my last school was them nitpicking over my record keeping (ie: they wanted a new-new-new-new-new lesson plan format?) [See how there are 5 "new"s there? That's because it was the fifth change. In five years.]

I often will tell myself that I want to make a YAG - and at this point, the basic outline takes me about 8-10 hours. So, it's not long. The problem is that I find myself making the materials as I write the YAG and that takes FAR longer. Each completed YAG you see above is around 400-500 hours of work. I highly doubt I will make a detailed one like that for any class I'm not teaching.
